After moving to LA, Tara served as the morning show personality with LA radio fixture Paul Freeman at Lite 92.7 FM/KMLT in the greater Los Angeles area. In her first "book" with the station, the ratings doubled.

For the two years prior, Tara was the original talent for the MTV
Network venture, CMT Radio, syndicated through Westwood One. As a country music insider,
Tara shared the entertainment news and gossip every morning with top-market morning
shows in Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, etc. Tara was the first VJ in
the MTV Radio Network family to make live calls to stations daily.

In addition,
Tara was a daily part of more than 150 country stations
nationwide with her CMT
News Minute. Being a part of people's daily lives is a commitment, and Tara
flew across the country regularly when stations hosted concerts and charity
events. During her work with CMT
Radio, Tara became a
significant part of the WQYK morning show with country legend Skip Mahaffey. When Skip won the CMA Major
Market Personality of the Year in 2003, he shared the award with Tara - his winning
submission featured their talking Nashville.
As a nationally-known country music personality, Tara hosted the syndicated
radio specials,
Brad Paisley: Gone Fishin' and
Andy Griggs: This I Gotta See. Plus, Tara
hosted the radio version of CMT's successful biography show,
Inside Fame.
Prior to moving to Nashville, Tara was the morning show co-host for the Smooth
Jazz station in Miami and West Palm Beach,
WLVE. The former midday jock at
Love
94, the morning ratings jumped up a full point and a half when Tara joined Kenny
Noble Cortes as his co-host.
This was coming off a three-year run as a talk show host on
SuperTalk 940/WINZ in Miami. Tara started her talk career as one of the two notorious
SuperChicks,
a frank lifestyle show about sex, relationships, and local issues. When the other
SuperChick went on permanent maternity leave, Tara helmed
Tara and Wayne,
"a show about a relationship . . . their relationship." Completely innovative,
Tara and Wayne was reality radio, emerging as Survivor impacted the concept of
reality TV to a nation. The show followed the couple as they dated, became exclusive,
moved-in together, got engaged, got pregnant, and became new parents together.
Audiences related and laughed along as the two tried to navigate the murky waters
of building a life together and maybe the only radio show in history
where the audience called to give the hosts advice.
Tara and Wayne won an A.I.R. Award in 2001.
Tara got her start with
Metro Networks, first in Houston and later
in Miami, where she was a news anchor. She was able to work with many stations
through Metro,
including as a news anchor for
WIOD 610 AM /Miami,
WLYF 101.5 Lite FM /Miami, and
WHYI Y-100 /Miami.

Tara also broadcasts with Dallas station
"The Twister" for awards shows.
